Roma Street Parklands.

We returned to the Rydges South Bend in Brisbane where we stayed briefly and watched the fireworks on New Years Eve.  We tried to do city stuff in Brisbane without birding all the time. The guide book in the hotel mentioned Roma Street Parklands, a beautiful garden a short Uber ride from the hotel. We visited and it was indeed beautiful.

 

 

Mike even got in some city birding and found the crested pigeons.  

 

However, we didn't stay long because the gardens were full of Dragons. Chris feels they should put Warning: Dragons in big letters in the guide book.
