A day in Mount Tambourine

Mount Tambourine is a very small town, a little like Big Bear in California. It's about an hour from Brisbane.

 

It has a small Gallery Walk area with some cafes and shops including a gluten free bakery

 

It also has a few wineries. We did just one tasting and found a bottle we liked.

 

 

Of course, we found some birds too. We are still amazed that Rainbow Lorikeets fly around everywhere and are pretty much taken for granted by Australians.  The grevillea plants are also everywhere.
